The Mornington Veterinary Clinic Journey

Mornington Veterinary Clinic has been around for 44 years, that’s not only 44 years of providing leading veterinary care to Mornington pets, it’s also the number of years Mornington Veterinary Clinic has remained a small and intimately run clinic. Throughout the decades Mornington Veterinary Clinic has maintained a close and loyal relationship with their clients; as such the bond shared between staff, patients and indeed clients extends far beyond typical day to day pleasantries. Our cheerful and humble collection of staff ensures that the same happy faces greet the same waggy tails seven days a week!

Dr Rex Neale established the clinic in 1972 as the sole veterinary clinic in Mornington. Whilst working in a vet in Frankston he recognised the need Mornington had for animal care and endeavoured to provide the finest care the Peninsula had to offer. This mentality carried over to the clinics next owner Dr Chris Robinson who from the late 70’s through to the new millennium, delivered exceptional care to both the large and small animals of Mornington. When Dr Jonathan Vaudrey joined the team as a partner in 1980, Mornington Veterinary Clinic had well established their reputation as a personal and compassionate clinic. From it’s opening day Mornington Veterinary Clinic has employed no more than two vets, ensuring that meaningful relationships developed between the vets and their clients, never compromising the level or quality of care they offered. After Dr Chris Robinson’s retirement in 2002, Dr Adam Stefani, the clinic’s current owner, joined the ranks. An addition that would ensure that Mornington Veterinary Clinic remained an intimately run clinic, with the same ideals that were instilled 42 years ago.

In 2008 Adam & his partner Victoria took over Mornington Veterinary Clinic, absolutely thrilled at the chance to further expand this already thriving enterprise. They can now boast a fully functional Veterinary hospital, delivering cutting edge treatment and exceptional customer service. “We aim to provide our clients with the highest quality of veterinary care, tailored to the needs of both the patient and their owners. Our excellent group of nurses display such commendable enthusiasm and devotion every day, going above and beyond the call of duty, with nothing but their patients and clients best interest at heart.” Every member of the Mornington Veterinary Clinic team is knowledgeable and only too happy to assist, settling whatever query or question you could possibly pose. The entire team at Mornington Veterinary Clinic is committed to providing exceptional veterinary care and advice, all whilst making individual connections with their patients and clients. It’s for this reason that we can say Mornington Veterinary Clinic really does provide you with the personal approach to Veterinary Care.

I have great confidence in the expertise of all the very capable folk at Mornington Vet. Clinic. Each patient (canine and doting owner) is treated with care, consideration (and courtesy – human companion). Thanks Adam.

I have taken my dogs and cats to Mornington Vet since 2002 and I am so happy with the way my dogs and cats have been treated. All the staff are lovely people and really care about you and your pets, My dog is always so excited when he visits them which just tells me that he feels comfortable every time we go. Even in sad times the staff are wonderful. Great work guys.
