A Fond Farewell

October 11, 2014 by Mornington Vet Clinic 3 Comments

A long standing and distinguished career now draws to a close, with a heavy heart we must announce that vet nurse Julie is retiring after over 20 years of service to Mornington Veterinary Clinic. Sad as we all are to say goodbye to Julie, we can look back fondly at the years of laughter and light she brought to the clinic.

Starting in 1988 as a young veterinary nurse Julie worked with both Dr Chris Robinson and Dr Jonathan Vaudrey, eventually becoming practice manager of Mornington Veterinary Clinic. As the clinic changed hands to current owner Dr Adam Stefani and our Practice Manager Victoria Land, Julie stayed on, continuously developing close friendships and bonds with clients. She celebrated her daughters wedding and the arrival of her granddaughter Sienna, sharing both occasions with us and our clients.

It is true that saying goodbye to such an important person in Mornington Veterinary Clinic’s history is a sad affair, but undoubtedly Julie has made an impact on all of us here at the clinic as well as the clients she shared her career with. We will all miss her terribly but are thrilled that she now has more time to spend with her beautiful family, she certainly deserves a rest after all her years at the clinic.

We finish Julie’s career with a sincere thank you and a hearty congratulations for her commendable vocation as a veterinary nurse at Mornington Veterinary Clinic.

So it is with immense gratitude that we all wish Julie the best of luck with her future plans and look forward to her visits to the clinic.

Enjoy your retirement Julie. I liked sharing chihuahua “moments” when accompanying Fi & Finn to the Clinic.
